At KSGF Foundation, we are committed to fostering intergenerational harmony and community resilience within the Black community of Montreal, Quebec. Our mission is to bridge the generation gap through innovative solutions that reduce senior isolation, enhance the well-being of our cherished seniors, and provide meaningful opportunities for youth and young adults to engage in acts of charity.
Through cutting-edge programs and technology-driven initiatives, we aim to create connections that transcend age, fostering mutual understanding, shared experiences, and a sense of belonging. Our focus is on improving the overall quality of life for seniors by addressing the unique challenges they face, promoting mental and emotional well-being, and creating spaces for joyful interactions.
Simultaneously, we empower the youth and young adults of our community to make a positive impact through charitable acts, instilling a sense of purpose and compassion. By cultivating a culture of reciprocal support, shared learning, and genuine care, we envision a community where each member, regardless of age, feels valued, connected, and inspired to contribute to the collective well-being of the Black community in Montreal. Together, we build a future where innovation, empathy, and charity create lasting bonds across generations.
In 2017, we launched Seenagers, Teenagers and Technology. This Innovative workshop brought together senior and youth and young adults in morning session where high school students would assist isolated senior on how to use their smartphones or other portable devices.
